I had high hopes that these gloves would help my wife's arthritic hands during the winter time. However, they were simply not very warm -- even on the highest setting. I tried them myself to confirm her assessment, and I reached the same conclusion. The heat is barely discernible on the lowest setting, and only slightly warmer on the highest setting. I cannot recommend these gloves, especially for the price.
