I needed gloves that:• weren't cheap junk,• were easy to find if dropped outdoors,• had no cotton,• were thin enough to wear under mittens or fingerless gloves• had grip to safely weild a knife, axe, hawk, bow, rifle or handgun, incl. reloading.These gloves do just about all of that for a lot less than Sitka.I use OnX on my phone, so the touchscreen fingertip is very handy.My only complaint is that the L-XL gloves aren't quite long enough for my M-L fingers. Gives me slightly webbed hands, but not enough to limit function.They also make me look like I'm wearing a Spiderman costume under my clothes, but I sure won't lose them in the woods.
