OK, Let's start with the description. "Electric Heated Gloves for Men and Women" but if you read the "About this item" section its states the following:"Perfect liner gloves for any thick gloves." This may or may not be a gotcha. Let me explain.Everything in the about this item section is correct. The gloves are warm, soft and have a different material (at the tip of the thumb and index finger) that allow you to keep your gloves on while using a touchscreen device like a smartphone. It works, but is not as agile as a single finger. The large opening is really nice so you can put the battery in the pouch with a zipper to keep it secure. The screen does allow you to control the temperature of the gloves and does provide a temperature read out. There are the two buttons at the bottom to allow you to adjust the temperature and to turn the heat on/off.I am pretty sure the material will wick moisture away from your hands, but that means your hands will not be kept dry if the gloves get wet. So here is the potential gotcha or potential benefit.These gloves were designed to be liners that go inside another pair of gloves. If you already have a pair of gloves and you want to augment the warmth of your hands, then you need to test the size of your gloves with these liners to determine if everything will together or that you will need to buy a larger pair of gloves.Now the gotcha can be another option, if you only need to keep your hands warm but only need a light pair of gloves then these are an option. I know that some people don't like wearing large bulky gloves, but still need their hands kept warm. They are not water proof/resistant, nor does the description state they are water proof/resistant but it does state they wick moisture away which is good.At first I thought these gloves were shaped a bit strange. The cuff is pretty large and the fabric feels thin (but not weak) for the gloves, but once you wear these under a pair of light gloves they are perfect.The gloves get very warm on the highest setting and keep your hands toasty in the cold, especially when worn under a light glove. I felt the heat was pretty concentrated with just the gloves alone. The cuff is pretty good in the end because it is easy to see the displays on them. So, these may look and feel a little strange, but they work very well at keeping your hands warm.These are more properly liners than gloves as another review notes.They are not waterproof nor particularly well-insulated. What struck me as I read the little manual that comes with them is that they are, like all battery operated devices, remarkably variable in the amount of time they will work on a single charge. These can last between 2.5 and 6.5 hours on a full charge dependant upon how high you need to set them. And how high you need to set them will be extremely dependant upon how much of the heat they generate will be retained.So yeah, you can use them as gloves only and keep your hands warm for a couple hours on avery cold day. Or you can use them as liners inside of a good pair of ski gloves and probably keep this on a much lower (and battery saving) temp for many hours more.Everything else about them is pretty self-explanatory. The included charger is proprietary--meaning standard USB doesn't work, however it is designed to charge both battery packs (right and left) simultaneously. So I get why. It also means that being cavalier with it (as I am with most interchangeable chargers nowadays) means you won't be able to charge the gloves if you lose it. And good luck finding the exact replacement.They get warm pretty quickly and seem to deliver a good pattern--especially noticeable on the fingers.Adjusting them or turning them on and off is done with a display on the cuff. Converting from F to C is a long press on the on/off.If you are a person who has cold hands, these can be a blessing if you need to be outsideThese gloves will keep your hands warm all winter.Pros: Gloves are soft, flexible, and light so they can be worn in fall. Velcro is strong and secure so gloves won’t move around. Touchscreens respond well, but only thumb and index finger have touchscreen material.Cons: Battery pack sits right on ventral wrist and is very hard and uncomfortable. Lights turn off even when powered on so it’s hard to see if the gloves are on or off. The heating element is on the dorsal surface of the hands, which still keeps you warm, but is less concentrated in the finger area. The gloves aren’t waterproof. The instructions say they can be used for skiing, but they also say not to use if the inner lining gets wet. It would be difficult to keep it dry if there is snow or rain around so the gloves aren’t useful for wet weather conditions.Overall these are nice gloves that will keep you warm, but you’ll be sacrificing comfort.I agree with other reviewers and these are thinner then regular winter gloves making them good liners. They would be fine for winter walks. They come with 2 batteries and a charger. The batteries go into a velcro area at the cuff of the glove. You can see the temperature right on each glove which is my favorite feature. They do allow use of touchscreen when on which is also very convenient. They start to warm super fast!!
